I never end up doing what i say I'm going to.
Maybe I'm just discouraged at my lack of photography skills.
Maybe I'll give DA a break until i take my photography class in college.

I've posted a lot of new photos lately, none of which i really love. I feel like i have a lot to learn to make my photos more incredible. I plan on taking a course on photography semester 2 in college, and i hope that should help. I'm going to keep doing what i'm doing in hopes that no matter how amateur my photos are, someone will still like them.

I've been getting a lot of comments and s so thank you all so much for that. I couldn't explain how happy it makes me to see a new comment or favorite on one of my photos.

I haven't been keeping up with the contests that i wanted to keep up with, but i'm still going to try.

Who knows if i'll enter, but i'll try to remember to when i'm out and about. I'm going to go get a new camera today. A little Nikon just to keep on me when i'm out with friends, more for fun photos. I miss having a small camera on me, and it's always good, because you never know what you'll find. My cell takes photos (it's a sidekick) but there's only 1.3 megapixels which makes the photo quality extra bad. Haha. I mainly use that just to send my mom quick photos of places i'm at when she's at home and bored.

Anyway, way too much information. I know when i'm in Boston in september i'll have many more photos to post, so keep an eye out for that.

I should have a flood of new photos coming up soon as I just joined a bunch of groups and am going to submit in a ton of contests. Also, i just finished school for the summer, so that should make it easier to work on my photography.

My old lens for my Nikon d50 broke when i went on a trip to pennsylvania in April. My amazing godfather just bought me a new one as my graduation present and it is absolutely incredible.

I cannot wait to get into photography again, and i'm going to post some new photos soon. I also plan on doing a new and improved version of my photo "Restless July" so look out for it, and let me know what you think when it's up.

Carpe Diem!

It's been almost a whole year since i've written in this journal, or even posted to this site. I haven't done much photography in awhile either, and that really bums me out.

I'm hoping to do more when i'm in the city in september. I'm looking forward to being someplace so beautiful and exciting.

I don't have much else to say. I found my half sister yesterday, which is a huge deal for me, as i havent seen her in 11 years.

My life just turned back right-side-up, after i've been hanging upside down for so long.

I am so happy.
